UI Monopoles
From day one, SCS was committed to spreading awareness and educating residents about the dangers of UI’s monopole proposal. We did by partnering with local groups such as SCNETI to coordinate resistance efforts, educating residents about new developments at town hall forums, and utilizing our platforms to consistently share critical information.
Community Safety Meeting
In light of recent crimes, as well as traffic and safety concerns amongst our Southport neighbors, the SCS convened an important meeting with Fairfield’s Selectman, the police department, and RTM members to discuss the issues at hand and respond to questions and comments from residents.
